Clinton VP says he feels like he’s been kidnapped

Tim Kaine — recently appointed to be a running mate with Hillary Clinton — claims to feel like a hostage when Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich.) asked him, “Well, what is it like?”

Politico reports:

The Democratic vice-presidential nominee quipped back: “It feels like I got kidnapped.”

The question was in regards to being on the campaign trail with Clinton and took place at a “coordinated campaign field office for Clinton and local Democrats in Grand Rapids, Mich., on Friday.”

Kaine, when the Secret Service isn’t clinging to him, spends his time mingling with donors and Clinton supporters. He does, however, seem to be shy around reporters.
